  • Scaling VISTA Chapters to Low- and Moderate-Income (LMI) Communities Statewide

Purpose: engage afterschool, banking, educational, workforce development, and economic inclusion leaders in scaling VISTA Chapters – online afterschool programs that offer LMI youths with free checking and other financial inclusion services, orientation to pathways to in-demand living wage jobs in NH, orientation to postsecondary programs that equip LMI youths and adults with skills needed to enter these occupations, and free laptops and home broadband subsidy to remove digital divide barriers.

  • Mobilizing School Librarian Leadership for Systemic Inclusion for Diverse Learners, co-facilitated by Susan Ballard, vice president for library services and partnership development, NCDE; and Dr. Carol Gordon, past president, New England School Library Association, and editor, digital equity resource database, NCDE

Purpose: engage school librarians in exploring and developing strategies to become local systemic inclusion leaders.

  • Bank On New Hampshire Coalition Development, facilitated by Drs. Bob McLaughlin, executive director, NCDE; and Paul Resta. Board chairperson, NCDE

Purpose: engage banking, financial literacy, and economic inclusion leaders in developing plans for the newly formed Bank On New Hampshire coalition to bring Bank On’s resources (free checking with financial literacy education, asset-building mentoring, credit repair counseling, and freedom from overdraft penalty fees) to all unbanked NH families.
